In Larry's latest week in review, he points to some Kannapolis game notes that might have the reason behind Miguel Gonzalez's emergence from hibernation:
It’s A Good Change... Since Miguel Gonzalez slightly altered his batting stance in Savannah, he has hits in six of his last seven, including a five game current hitting streak. Over that span he is hitting 10-for-24 (.416) bumping his average 18 points.
Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with a sac fly and an HBP, which raises his August line to .298/.333/.316 (57 AB). It's still very empty, but it's a sign of life from someboody who hadn't shown anything at the plate all season.
