Jordan Danks, Jon Gilmore and Rangel Ravelo each had three-hit games as the White Sox farm system won five of its six games. Also of note, Nick Ciolli played his first game at Winston-Salem, mostly to make up for Brandon Short's absence.

- Kevin MOran made it close with a bad eighth inning, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk, striking out one.

- Addison Reed threw two perfect innings, striking out five of six batters he retired.
