Carson Fulmer is back in Charlotte, but his control problems followed him from Chicago.

Fulmer picked up the win in Charlotte's 2-1 victory over Indianapolis, but he wouldn't have been in such a position on other nights. He issued six walks over five innings, yet somehow limited the damage to just the single run.

Our man in Charlotte Jonathan Lee talked to Fulmer after the game, and it seems as though some disappointment has seeped into his natural inclination towards optimism and confidence.

Renteria says the Sox are planning for two before he's back in the majors, although that could change if he picks up where he left off.
