When it comes to injury news, Eloy Jimenez always seems to have Luis Robert beat.

Both players are on the disabled list for the second time this season, but Jimenez will miss far less time. He strained the adductor muscle in his left leg on Sunday, but the Sox expect him to return to game action in two weeks. His absence includes the Triple-A All-Star break, which helps.

Robert, on the other hand, ended up with a moderate sprain of his left thumb on a catch against the wall. His timetable in returning to game action is four to eight weeks.

In better news, the White Sox named Joel Booker and Donny Roach as their minor league players of the month for June. Booker hit .369/.430/.583 with two homers, 12 doubles and five steals (in nine attempts) between Winston-Salem and Birmingham, while Roach went 5-0 with an 0.98 ERA over six games, earning a spot on the International League All-Star team.

The White Sox also signed five players internationally, but I'll get to that in a separate post.
