White Sox Prospects

White Sox Minor Keys: July 26, 2018

Luis Robert. (Jonathan Lee)

On Thursday, MLB.com updated all of its prospects lists -- the top 100, and the top 30 for each team -- to account for for all signed draft prospects, and there's a revision to the White Sox' rankings.

First, the top 100 (with previous rank):

3. Eloy Jimenez (4)
13. Michael Kopech (10)
26. Luis Robert (28)
33. Nick Madrigal (NA)
45. Dylan Cease (61)
66. Dane Dunning (92)
91. Blake Rutherford (99)

Alec Hansen tumbled off the list from the 54th spot due to a year marred by injuries and significant control issues.

As for the White Sox' top 10 (previous rank):

    1. Eloy Jimenez (1)
    2. Michael Kopech (2)
    3. Luis Robert (3)
    4. Nick Madrigal (NA)
    5. Dylan Cease (5)
    6. Dane Dunning (6)
    7. Blake Rutherford (7)
    8. Zack Collins (9)
    9. Luis Alexander Basabe (14)
    10. Alec Hansen (4)

I'm waiting for Luis Gonzalez (14th) to overtake Jake Burger (13th) for the top spot among 2017 draft picks, because I had a feeling he was going to be the most productive player from that group before Burger blew out his Achilles twice.
