A few news items from Friday:
*Dylan Cease and Luis Alexander Basabe will represent the White Sox in the Futures Game during the All-Star break. The game will be played at Nationals Park in Washington at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday, July 15.
*Blake Rutherford was back in the Winston-Salem lineup after getting banged-up falling over the short wall in BB&T Ballpark's right field on Wednesday.
*Nicky Delmonico began his rehab stint with Birmingham, and he struck out in both of his plate appearances. He hadn't played since May 18 after a fastball broke his finger.

- Jameson Fisher replaced him by singling, striking out and swiping a base.
- Zach Collins went 1-for-4 with a homer and two strikeouts.

- Alex Call went 1-for-3 with a double, walk and strikeout.
