Sporcle Saturday: Hall of Famers

(Bryce Edwards / Flickr)

Sunday night saw the surprising election of Harold Baines to the Hall of Fame, by way of the Today's Game Era Committee. As Sox fans, we're, of course, happy to see a longtime Sox staple get in, even if most of us were unprepared to see it happen

Baines marks the 31st player in franchise history to have worn a White Sox uniform (for at least part of his career) and to make the Hall of Fame. Today's Sporcle will be celebrating that accomplishment: of those players elected to the Hall of Fame who played for the Sox --at some point -- how many can you name? Good luck!

Quiz Parameters

    • I've allotted ten minutes for completion attempts.
    • For hints, I've provided the White Sox tenure of the player in question, and the year they were inducted/elected.

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:

    • 7 players on this list played just one season (or less) for the White Sox.
    • This marks the fourth year in a row (and five of six) a player will be inducted to the HoF with White Sox ties (though just two will be wearing the White Sox cap).
