White Sox Minor Keys: June 10, 2019

An old Jake Burger photo still does the job.

As part of Rick Hahn's customary start-of-the-homestand address -- featuring the customary defense of any highly touted White Sox prospect's slow track -- he provided an update on Jake Burger, who is still nowhere to be seen after his general June 1 return date came and went.

Hahn said Burger suffered a bruised heel during his rehabilitation of his twice-ruptured Achilles. Hahn said of the injury that it's "nothing [Burger] won't recover from here," and he used the phrase "not-too-distant-future" both in terms of his return to action and his return to affiliated play.
