White Sox Minor Keys: June 14, 2019

Zebulon, N.C.

The Great Falls Voyagers are underway, and now that the roster is official -- complete with an absence of players stashed on the disabled list -- I'll have a season preview later today.

In the meantime, Steele Walker finally had a breakout performance with the Winston-Salem Dash. He entered Friday night's game hitting .222/.336/.306 over his first 32 games at High-A, and had been held to a double as his lone extra-base hit over his previous 12.

He came up with three of them in one night while hitting for the cycle, saving the easiest for last:

And he capped it off with one of his usual money quotes:

"Never in my life at any level," the left-handed hitter said. "I've never done that, so that's why it's cool. Honestly, it feels like freedom."
