I don't think anybody naturally links Luis Robert and Kyle Kubat, but they're on a mutual roll. They won the White Sox' position player and pitcher of the month awards for May, respectively, which is a helluva trick considering they both made their Double-A debuts on the first of the month.

Robert hit .311/.360/.524 over his first full month with the Barons, with 12 doubles, two triples, two homers and eight stolen bases in 14 attempts. Kubat was similarly unfazed by the jump. He posted a 1.38 ERA and held opponents to a .540 OPS over six starts with the Barons, during which he averaged 6½ innings an outing.

Speaking of debuts at Birmingham, Lincoln Henzman made his Double-A debut on Sunday. He was promoted from Winston-Salem, and the guy who took his spot on the Dash was no other than his Louisville staffmate Kade McClure, who pitched his first game for the Dash. See their results below.

    • Daniel Palka and Zack Collins were both 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
    • Danny Mendick went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout.
