Good news: Bryce Bush returned to the lineup after missing nearly three weeks on the injured list due to a pair of foul balls off the same spot on his foot. He homered in his first game back.

Bad news: Nicky Delmonico, who was optioned to Charlotte on May 19 but hadn't appeared in a game for the Knights, is done for the year after undergoing season-ending surgery on the labrum in his left shoulder.

Also bad news: Ian Hamilton was hit with a line drive that went into the Charlotte dugout. Our Man in Charlotte Jonathan Lee said that Hamilton was able to leave under his own power, but it was quiet in the park for five minutes or so.
