Tim Anderson wore a Charlotte Knights jersey for the first time since 2016 on Wednesday night. He eased his way back into action from his sprained ankle as a designated hitter, and he went 3-for-4 in his return to competition.
Our Man in Charlotte Jonathan Lee talked to Anderson before the game, and Anderson said he's supposed to play shortstop today and get as many at-bats as possible throughout. That's mostly to get him up to speed, but he may also just want to take advantage of the environment as much as he can.
