It was a quiet Futures Game for Nick Madrigal and Luis Robert. They started for the American League and batted second and third, respectively, but they combined to go 0-for-6 between them. Madrigal grounded out to second in both his at-bats; Robert bounced out, struck out and flied out to center in his last two trips.
Instead, the highlights went to Taylor Trammell attempting a straight steal of home (called out, probably safe), Nate Pearson throwing 102, and Sam Huff hitting the game-tying two-run homer. The game ended in a 2-2 tie.
