By picking high school athletes in the second, third and fourth round, the White Sox' draft haul was already prep-heavy to an unprecedented degree, at least this century.

Thanks to a couple late signings, the rookie leagues are going to have even more names worth watching. Over the last three days, the White Sox have officially come to terms with 22nd-rounder Logan Glass, according to Friend of the Podcast Jim Callis:

Callis also certified the signing of 34th-rounder Chase Krogman, which his family already tipped:

This should round out the 2019 draft class, which includes eight prep players.

    • Welington Castillo caught for the first time in his rehab stint and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
    • Blake Rutherford was 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
    • Gavin Sheets, 0-for-3 with a walk.
    • Ti'Quan Forbes went 2-for-4 with a triple and a strikeout.
    • Luis Gonzalez went 0-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Laz Rivera doubled, singled and struck out twice.
    • Nice start for John Parke: 6.1 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, 1 HR, 1 HBP, 1 WP
    • A step back for Alec Hansen: 0.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 K, nine of 21 pitches for strikes.

    • Steele Walker went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.
    • Carlos Perez was 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
    • Jonathan Stiever: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K, 66 of 88 pitches for strikes.
    • Tyler Johnson: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K

Greensboro 5, Kannapolis 4

    • Lenyn Sosa went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
    • Andrew Vaughn homered, singled, walked twice and struck out once.
    • Bryce Bush went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
    • Romy Gonzalez was 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
