The Arizona Fall League rosters came out today, and considering the myriad setbacks plaguing the White Sox farm system, it's actually sending a pretty decent group to the Glendale Desert Dogs.

On the position-player side, Gavin Sheets will try to bolster his prospect status, Blake Rutherford will try to increase the impact of his contact, and a player to be named later -- presumably Micker Adolfo -- will try to be available.

Pitchingwise, Bernardo Flores (strained oblique) and Tyler Johnson (strained lat) both lost a big chunk of the season, so they'll get a chance to catch up. Bennett Sousa, last year's 10th-round pick, has had a nice year across two A-ball levels, with 71 strikeouts to 12 walks over 62 innings. He was recently promoted to Birmingham. He joins Vince Arobio, a 24th-round pick who also dominated both A-ball levels, but is now finding Double-A hitters much tougher to retire.
