Good morning!
Today marks the birthday of one of the more celebrated Chicago White Sox in franchise history, Paul Konerko, who turns 46 years young today. Happy birthday, Paulie!
While the six-time All-Star garnered just 2.5% of the Hall of Fame vote in his only year on the ballot in 2020, he does share a statistical distinction with a host of players who are (or will be/could be) enshrined: namely, that he managed to hit both at least 400 home runs over the course of his career as well as 2,000 hits. That accomplishment puts him among just 47 other players to also achieve that feat.

- Konerko --and I don't know whether this is strange or not, but it is useless-- was intentionally walked the second-fewest amount of times from the members on this list.
- He's also tied for last on the list with just 8 triples in the course of his career, but he'll always have that inside the park home run.
