White Sox Minor Keys: April 24, 2022

The White Sox don't have much in the way of 28-man roster reinforcements in Charlotte, especially since Romy Gonzalez has started the season slowly. He came into Sunday's finale in Nashville hitting just .205/.327/.318 with 21 strikeouts in 52 plate appearances, including a golden sombrero on Saturday night..0......................................................................

Gonzalez went 1-for-2 and avoided the strikeout column on Sunday, but that's at least due in part to leaving the game in the fourth inning. He tagged up from second on a fly ball to left center, taking advantage of the inexperience of career infielder Brice Turang in center field.

That part worked out, but Gonzalez injured himself diving into third base with a very long slide. When he slowly rose, he appeared to be favoring a hip or side.

In unknown injury news, Bryan Ramos didn't play all weekend for the Winston-Salem Dash, and there's no event to tie it to. He last played on Thursday, going 2-for-3 with a walk to extended his hitting streak to 10 games.
