After just about three full weeks out of action due to a bone bruise in his hand, Colson Montgomery returned to the Kannapolis lineup on Friday.
Montgomery improved upon the .236/.353/.382 line he carried into the game with a 2-for-5 night, singling twice and striking out twice. He tried to boost the slugging line with hopes of stretching a single into a double, but he was cut down at second.
