Colson Montgomery's on-base streak didn't make it back from the All-Star break, as he went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Winston-Salem's 3-2 loss to Rome.
The streak started back on April 24, the day before Montgomery went on the injured list for a wrist issue. Day 2 came three weeks later when he returned from the injured list.
Over the course of the 50 games, Montgomery hit .344/.448/.519 with nine doubles, one triple, seven homers, 30 walks (plus six HBPs) and 40 strikeouts, all of which you like to see over a 221-PA sample from a 20-year-old. He also got promoted to High-A and placed on the major top-100 prospect lists in their midseason updates, so all in all, he'd probably rate the experience five stars.
