When the smoke cleared, Lenyn Sosa basically received a promotion from Birmingham to Charlotte with a five-day layover in Chicago.
He made his Triple-A debut on Thursday that showed no signs of jet lag, singling three times over the course of five at-bats in the Knights' 6-5 loss to Durham. He was batting 1.000 one pitch into his Uptown career ...
... and his two outs qualified as hard-hit balls as well.
Before the game, Jeff Cohen asked Charlotte hitting coach Chris Johnson about what he expects to see from Sosa.

Notes:
*Andrew Dalquist pitched in relief according to the box score, but the guy who was wearing No. 25 for the Dash in the eighth inning was a lefty.
*Here's video of Bryan Ramos, who received a glowing updated scouting report from Baseball Prospectus' Ben Spanier earlier in the day.
