A couple of notes:

*Baseball America posted its revised organizational talent rankings after accounting for the draft, and the White Sox improved from No. 30 to No. 24, ahead of the Twins, Tigers and Royals. The blurb:

Shortstop Colson Montgomery and outfielder Oscar Colas have been excellent this season, and Bryan Ramos has stretches of greatness as well. Righthander Cristian Mena has intrigued at the lower levels, and infielders Lenyn Sosa and Jose Rodriguez have been impressive at times as well, with Sosa earning his first big league callup. The White Sox invested heavily in pitching in the draft, including high-end talents Noah Schultz and Peyton Pallette with their first two picks.

*The White Sox outrighed Yoán Aybar from the 40-man roster, presumably to make room for Elvis Andrus unless the team has any other moves up its sleeve. Aybar cleared waivers, which isn't a surprise given his 7.67 ERA and 24 walks on top of 31 hits over 29⅓ innings. And actually, that ERA is 7.97 now, because he gave up a pair of runs on three hits and two walks in his inning of work on Thursday.

*James Fegan provided an update on pitchers who haven't yet pitched for the organization this year.
