Liam Hendriks was back in the White Sox clubhouse on Tuesday, and Pedro Grifol says that Hendriks will be starting a rehab assignment by the end of the week.
Garrett Crochet's outing on Tuesday shows that everybody will have to maintain patience no matter what kind of emergency boils over on the 26-man roster.
Crochet's second-ever minor-league outing was far rockier than his first. Pitching for the Barons against Chattanooga, Crochet walked the first two batters he faced, followed by a single, a double (by a lefty) and a sac fly for his first and only out. He threw just 11 of 24 pitches for strikes, and since Lorenzo Bundy came to the take the ball, it's fair to assume that he hit his limit of pitches for the night.

- AJ Alexy pitched the final inning: 1 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 0 K, 12 of 32 pitches for strikes.
