After a few delays, Bryan Ramos officially made his return from the strained groin he suffered during spring training.

Ramos started his rehab stint with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers on Tuesday night, going 1-for-5 in his 2023 debut.

That leaves Colson Montgomery and Noah Schultz as top-10 White Sox prospects who have yet to surface in regulation game action in 2023. The White Sox said Schultz is on track to make his affiliated debut in June after an early-season forearm issue, but Montgomery doesn't have a timetable for his mid-back strain.

Charlotte 9, Jacksonville 5

  • Oscar Colás went 0-for-4 with a walk and two strikeouts.
  • Lenyn Sosa went 1-for-5 with a double.
  • Same for Carlos Pérez, who struck out once.

Tennessee 7, Birmingham 5

  • José Rodríguez homered for the third time in two games, finishing 1-for-5 with a K.
  • Alsander Womack also homered while going 2-for-5 with two strikeouts.
  • Luis Mieses was 2-for-4 with a K and a stolen base.
  • Adam Hackenberg, 3-for-4.
  • Tommy Sommer: 4 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 1 HR

Brooklyn 7, Winston-Salem 3

  • Terrell Tatum wore the collar and silver sombrero.
  • Loidel Chapelli walked thrice, struck out once and stole two bases.
  • DJ Gladney went 0-for-4 with a K.
  • Wilfred Veras singled, struck out thrice and stole a base.
  • Wes Kath went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout.
  • Jared Kelley: 3 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 K, 36 of 66 pitches for strikes.

Kannapolis 6, Augusta 1

  • Jordan Sprinkle went 2-for-5 with a stolen base.
  • Bryan Ramos sighting: 1-for-5 in his 2023 debut.
  • Jacob Burke went 2-for-4 with a double and a strikeout.
  • Brooks Baldwin wore the golden sombrero.
  • Shane Murphy: 5 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 5 K, 1 HR
