Oscar Colás might not be hitting his stride with the White Sox yet, but he can at least point to what the Charlotte Knights looks like without him.
The Kngihts were shut out for the third time in four games to open the second half after losing 4-0 to Memphis on Tuesday night. Combine the scores from the previous three games against Lehigh Valley, and the Knights have been outscored 23-1.
On the other hand, the Birmingham Barons look like they've learned to love again after spending the first half struggling to hit the enhanced-grip baseball. Since the Southern League returned to the standard major-league ball, the Barons have scored 37 runs over four second-half games, resulting in three consecutive wins. See below for details.
