Good morning!
With Jake Burger shipped out of town to Miami, we unfortunately now find ourselves derived of smaller forms of entertainment on the trek to season's end: Jake Burger, Second Baseman. Burger actually only appeared in 5 games this season at second base, but he was arguably their most productive from an offensive standpoint: a .308/.438/1.231 slash across 16 plate appearances. He managed to accrue 16 total bases in that time; for reference, the 2023 White Sox second baseman with the most total bases has 35. Over 41 games and 149 plate appearances.
Now, look: had Burger stayed, I wouldn't have been an advocate for him to be a permanent fixture at second. He was, however, a nice cameo from time-to-time if only to stir some novelty into the room-temperature cauldron of boredom that usually marks the 2023 White Sox.
At any rate, today's Sporcle looks back at second basemen of present and past. Since 1990, which White Sox players have played (but not necessarily started) at least one game at second base over the course of the season? Entering Friday evening's contest against the Guardians, there are 143 entries in all: how many can you get? Good luck!

- To reiterate from above: a player need not have started the game at second, merely appeared there.

- For hints, I’ve provided the number of games at second base, and the year.
Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- There have been 12 players to log just one game at second base in a season.
- The most games logged at the position on this list is 157, back in 1998.
- Meanwhile, the most games logged at second in franchise history is 161, accomplished by Jim Morrison in 1980. (He was DH for the other game)
