The short-season leagues lived up to their billing on Tuesday, because their seasons came to a close.
The Arizona Complex League White Sox finished their season 21-35, last place in the ACL West and the second-worst record overall. The Dominican Summer League White Sox were far stronger as a unit, finishing 32-22 with a run differential of +46, but it wasn't good enough to make the DSL postseason.

Memphis 9, Charlotte 5
- Seby Zavala began his rehab stint, going 1-for-4.
- Korey Lee also was 1-for-4, with a walk and two strikeouts.
- Luis Patiño is an artist: 4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 7 BB, 1 K, 24 of 61 pitches for strikes.
Birmingham 10, Rocket City 4
- José Rodríguez went 2-for-5 with a strikeout.
- Colson Montgomery, 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts.
- Bryan Ramos was 2-for-5 with a strikeout.
- Wilfred Veras, 2-for-5 with two doubles and a strikeout.
- Edgar Quero, 1-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout.
- Tim Elko homered, singled twice and struck out twice.
- Luis Mieses was 1-for-5 with two strikeouts.
- Alsander Womack didn't reach base, oddly: 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
- Terrell Tatum was 0-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base.
- Cristian Mena: 6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 6 K, 1 HR
Winston-Salem 5, Bowling Green 4 (Completion of Aug. 6 game, 12 innings)
- Jacob Burke went 2-for-5 with a double, walk and strikeout, although he was caught stealing twice.
- Loidel Chapelli was 2-for-5 with two doubles and a strikeout.
- DJ Gladney, 3-for-5 with a double and a walk.
- Tim Elko singled and struck out thrice (this was before his promotion, obviously)
- Brooks Baldwin replaced him and singled in his only PA.
- Juan Carela: 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 1 HR
Bowling Green 17, Winston-Salem 1 (Game 2)
- Loidel Chapelli had half of the Dash's hits while going 1-for-4 with two strikeouts.
- Jacob Burke was 0-for-4 with a K.
- Brooks Baldwin, 0-for-3 with a strikeout.
- DJ Gladney walked once and struck out twice.
- Wes Kath, 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
Myrtle Beach 9, Kannapolis 8 (10 innings)
- Rikuu Nishida went 0-for-3 with two walks and an HBP.
- Jacob Gonzalez was 0-for-5 with a walk and a strikeout.
- Calvin Harris, 0-for-5 with a walk, two strikeouts and a CS.
- Jordan Sprinkle went 1-for-4 with two walks, a strikeout and a stolen base.
ACL Mariners 9, ACL White Sox 6
- Ryan Burrowes singled, walked, struck out and was caught stealing.
- George Wolkow went 0-for-2 with a walk, HBP and a strikeout.
- Ronny Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a strikeout.
