Good morning!
As I write this, the White Sox continue to be in a holding pattern for any sort of substantive news surrounding Dylan Cease (or other moves). Between the lack of activity and it being the middle of the offseason, I thought it might be nice to revisit some of the more exciting moments during the regular season: walk-off home runs.
The 2022 season, besides being a massive disappointment --and a harbinger of things to come-- was strange in that there were no walk-off home runs for the White Sox. 2023, however, saw two walk-offs which now gives the franchise 154 such events in their history.
So, that’s what today’s Sporcle is all about: the 154 instances where the White Sox walked off their opponent. How many can you get? Good luck!

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- The franchise leader with the most walk-off home runs has 8 such events.
- The White Sox have never walked off an opposing pitcher more than twice.
- Tampa Bay led the majors with 5 walk-offs last years.
- Strangely --given the likelihood of cold weather-- April 2023 had the most walk-offs of any month during the season, with 13.
