Truist Field in Charlotte is usually a great place to pad stats, but White Sox prospects hadn't taken advantage of it this year until Tuesday night, and I'd particularly like to draw your attention to the homers hit by Luis Robert Jr. and Colson Montgomery.
Robert homered in his first plate appearance in the Triple-A portion of his rehab journey, and the metrics -- a 99.8 mph exit velocity and a 41-degree launch angle the opposite way -- suggested he just missed it. Instead, it floated out to right field with room to spare.
With Montgomery he ripped the ball to the pull field at 106.3 mph, but with a launch angle of 20 degrees, it probably would've been a double off the right-field wall in most ballparks. At Truist Field, it ended up in the first row for Montgomery's sixth dinger of the year.
Lenyn Sosa and Jared Walsh also homered to give them four on the evening. They now have 30 at home and 26 on the road, and that should be a much bigger divide at the end of the year.
