White Sox Minor Keys: Aug. 1, 2024

A number of recently acquired White Sox prospects -- drafts and trades -- are up and running in the organization.

In Winston-Salem, William Bergolla (acquired for Tanner Banks) started at short and went 1-for-5 with a strikeout.

In Kannapolis, Jeral Perez (from the Dodgers in the three-way deal) batted second, started at short, went 1-for-4 with a double and drove in three of the Cannon Ballers' 15 runs.

And in Arizona, the Complex Bridge League is underway. Photographer Jerry Espinoza took photos of second-round pick Caleb Bonemer, fourth-rounder Casey Saucke, fifth-round pick Sam Antonacci, and sixth-rounder Jackson Appel.

• Bryan Ramos doubled, walked and struck out thrice.
• Oscar Colás went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts.
• Edgar Quero was 1-for-3 with a double, walk and strikeout.
• Tim Elko went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout.
• Zach DeLoach was 1-for-5 with three strikeouts.
• Nick Nastrini: 1.2 IP, 4 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 4 K, 2 HR, 30 of 57 pitches for strikes.

Notes:

*Colson Montgomery sat for a second consecutive game.

*Danny Mendick has been with the team for less than two weeks, and he's already pitched twice.

• Terrell Tatum went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts.
• New month, new Jacob Gonzalez: 3-for-4 with a double.
• Wilfred Veras went 2-for-4.
• So did Jacob Burke, who tripled.

• Rikuu Nishida went 1-for-4 with a sac bunt and stolen base.
• William Bergolla went 1-for-5 with a strikeout.
• DJ Gladney, 3-for-5 with a double and a stolen base.
• Wes Kath was 1-for-5 with a double and a strikeout.
• Ryan Galanie went 0-for-3 with a walk.
• Loidel Chapelli went 2-for-4 with a strikeout.
• Samuel Zavala, 0-for-4.
• Eddie Park was 1-for-3 with a walk.
