When we last checked in on Bryan Ramos in Farm Fortnight, he'd recovered from a brief outage with a four-game hitting streak, albeit of the quietest variety. He wrapped up the series against the Toledo Mud Hens with one single per game, although he at least worked a walk and two HBPs.
Following the completion of this past week's series against the Memphis Redbirds, the hitting streak remains intact, and it's far more impressive. He extended it to 10 games with a three-hit, two-homer performance in Charlotte's 8-3 victory.
He victimized Gordon Graceffo twice, and by hitting how he was pitched. In the fourth inning, Graceffo tried a 94-mph fastball on the outside corner. It's just that the catcher was setting up for a high heater, and Graceffo's first four pitches were away. Ramos got a fifth pitch in that location, and he looked ready for it, poking it out to right field.

An inning later, Graceffo hung a 1-1 slider on the inner half, and Ramos did what he was supposed to do by launching it 424 feet to left field:

Ramos is hitting .291/.398/.557 over 20 games in August, boosting his Triple-A line to .257/.331/.412 overall.

- Bryan Ramos homered twice while going 3-for-4 with a strikeout. He was also caught stealing.
