White Sox prospect Edgar Quero

Edgar Quero (Jim Margalus / Sox Machine)

While Noah Schultz usurped Colson Montgomery for the top spot on Baseball America's revised White Sox prospect list, Edgar Quero has built a decent case for consideration at No. 1 as well.

Quero reached base four times in Charlotte's 12-1 victory over Norfolk on Saturday night. He flied out in the first inning, but drew a bases-loaded walk in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, then capped off his evening with a two-run double in the seventh.

He's now hitting .309/.433/.491 over 16 games with Charlotte, raising his line to .281/.373/.468 when combining his production from his first 72 games with Birmingham.
