Good morning!
Right field continues to be a problem for the White Sox, what with them not logging 1 WAR since 2017. Maybe their new manager can man the position every now and again; he did, after all, log 1.1 WAR all by himself back in 2014 for the San Diego Padres.
While that doesn't seem likely to be the answer, surely someone will come along and fill the void. 2024 saw twelve different guys play in right field; 2023 saw eleven, and well, you get the picture. Games played tell the same tale as James' story linked above: you have to go back to 2017 to find a player to appear in 100 games or more in right field.
So, today's Sporcle will test you on your knowledge of right fielders. You are tasked with naming every player to appear in at least one game in right field dating back to 1990. That’s 218 names: how many can you get? Good luck!

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- The White Sox were truly blessed with stability in right field from 1997-2009: two players (I bet you can name them!) accounted for 79% of all RF appearances in that span.
- Those same two players accounted for 54.8% of all home runs from Sox right fielders (417/760).
- The average triple-slash of the players on this list: .247/.305/.393.
