Good morning!
As you may know, on Thursday evening the White Sox beat the Astros on Opening Day, 3-2. The World Series champions' celebration was spoiled, and so was their streak of 10 consecutive wins on Opening Day. In large part, this was due to starting pitcher Dylan Cease, who, as the kids say, shoved. Cease went 6.1 IP through a very difficult Astros lineup, allowing just two hits and no walks while striking out 10. Not too shabby!
All those pretty pitching numbers amounted to a game score of 75, the second-highest of the day behind Luis Castillo's 76. Looking back through the years, this was the highest game score by a White Sox starter on Opening Day dating all the way back to 2005! Cease's 75 is good for tenth-highest in franchise history, and today's Sporcle will commemorate this fact. Today, I'm asking you to try and figure out all White Sox starting pitchers who logged a game score of at least 50 (average) on Opening Day dating back to 1901. In all, there are 61 entries: how many can you get? Good luck!

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- The lowest game score ever recorded by a White Sox starter on Opening Day is -8. That was Vern Kennedy against the St. Louis Browns on 4/21/1937. Ol' Vern gave up 11 runs on 14 hits over 4.1 IP. (The White Sox lost, 15-10).
- The highest game score ever recorded by any starting pitcher on any team is 111, by Walter Johnson on 4/13/1926. Johnson was able to achieve that, though, because he pitched a 15 inning shutout...
- ...So if you want the nine-inning version, it's a game score of 96 authored by Lon Warneke on 4/17/1934. (A one hit, 13 strikeout shutout of the Cubs in a 6-0 victory)
