In case the site looks different to you today, that's on purpose.
I'm testing out a redesign on Sox Machine, which was inspired by the reports of the site load looping at times on iOS devices. Looking into the issue made me realize I was overdue to overhaul the design of the site, less because of the way the site looked, and more because improvements had been made in site-building technology to greatly reduce the amount of plugins necessary to execute some concepts. The under-the-hood stuff was getting bloated and creaky, so in hindsight it shouldn't have surprised me that it was resulting in some inconsistencies in terms of site performance.
There are some rough edges I'll be looking to smooth out over the coming days and weeks, but if you see any issues pertaining to performance -- things not loading properly, difficulties logging in or commenting, that sort of thing -- let me know.
