Trending on the Farm: Bryan Ramos returns to action

Bryan Ramos

Bryan Ramos made his full season debut with Kannapolis last week. Ramos is technically on a rehab assignment, but did swat a home run while playing in four of six games.

Oscar Colás & Sean Burke

Oscar Colás did improve upon his OBP from the previous week, but has been in a funk at the plate for the second week in a row.

Sean Burke put together his best final line since April 30, although the WHIP still wasn't pretty (2.08 in this start). Even still, it was encouraging and something Burke could build on going into next week.

Lenyn Sosa

Lenyn Sosa continues to display his ability to hit AAA pitching, knocking four extra base hits and five RBI last week en route to another above average weekly OPS.

Peyton Pallette

Peyton Pallette followed up a strong outing with an unhittable one, despite being less efficient at strike-throwing (60%) in this particular start (71% previous).

José Rodriguez

After ending the previous week on a high note, José Rodriguez carried that momentum into last week, playing in all six games and securing hits in five of six.

Cristian Mena

After a couple tough weeks and three rough starts, Cristian Mena was more of himself in his latest outing, limiting both walks and hits (0.83 WHIP in this start) while still going six innings and throwing 61% of his pitches for strikes.

Stephen Piscotty

Stephen Piscotty was scorching hot for the Knights last week, batting .353/.400/.824 for a 1.224 OPS with four extra base hits.

Garrett Davila

26 year old Garrett Davila had a nice start against the Jumbo Shrimp, striking out eight while throwing 66% of pitches for strikes.

Xavier Fernandez

Xavier Fernandez had five hits last week, but made them count as three of them left the yard, ending the week with a 1.264 OPS and five RBI.

Jonah Scolaro

24 year old left hander Jonah Scolaro made two solid appearances last week, throwing four innings allowing two hits and two walks, but struck out six Smokies.

Noah Owen & Tristan Stivors

22 year old righty Noah Owen made two solid appearances last week, throwing six total innings allowing four hits and one walk while striking out six Cyclone batters.

Tristan Stivors also made two appearances against Brooklyn with outstanding results. In three innings, the 24 year old right hander allowed two hits and one walk while striking out five.

Kohl Simas

Kohl Simas was outstanding last week against Brooklyn, rebounding from a very bad previous outing (seven earned runs in 1.2 IP). The 23 year old's full stat line is below, as he mows down Cyclones left and right.

Jacob Burke

Once again, Jacob Burke was the main source of offense for the Cannon Ballers. Burke slashed .412/.474/.706 for an 1.180 OPS, hitting two doubles, one home run, and going 2-for-2 on stolen bases.
