Good morning!
Entering Friday evening's game against the Brewers, Luis Robert Jr. sits on 30 doubles and 31 dingers. Not too shabby! It is not inconceivable that Robert can reach a 40 2B/40 HR season, something which has only been accomplished twice in franchise history, and not since 2000.
Even keeping the threshold at 30 2B/30 HR, however, doesn't make for much of a quiz. Just 10 unique guys have done it for the Sox over 27 player-seasons. Thus, for this week's Sporcle, I'm asking you to remember White Sox players who have logged 40 or more doubles in a season. That, coincidentally, also works out to 27 player-seasons, but the names are more varied and go back further. How many can you get? Good luck!
