Sporcle Saturday: Double(s) your pleasure, double(s) your fun

Good morning!

Prior to the White Sox' series against Baltimore, Tim Anderson was on --what seemed to me, at least-- a weird streak of games: a double in four consecutive games. Using Baseball Reference's Stathead, it is one of the longer streaks in 2023: Bryan Reynolds had a run of 6 consecutive games in late April-early May for the Pirates and three other guys had a streak of 5, but that's pretty much it.

At any rate, I'm kind of burying the topic of today's Sporcle. Anderson now has 177 doubles in his career, and is the active leader on the White Sox in doubles. Today's quiz will ask you to name all players throughout franchise history to record 150 more doubles in their career as a White Sox. That's 36 names: how many can you get? Good luck!

Quiz Parameters

  • I’ve allotted 10 minutes for completion attempts.
  • For hints, I’ve provided the tenure of the player in question, their position, and the number of doubles.

Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:

  • The average triple-slash from the players on this list: .281/.349/.421.
  • The career OPS is all over the map: the player with the highest OPS sits at .995, while the lowest is a paltry .620.
  • Meanwhile, Yoan Moncada is at 149 doubles.
  • Bo Bichette has the record for consecutive games with a double, at 9.
