There are THREE ways a team can get better year over year (Five if you count a new front office or a new coaching staff).  I’m leaving out new ownership as a possibility because…because this is the Sox.

    1. Draft Picks
    2. Free Agents
    3. Trades (acquired)

Because the info is very large for all three categories, this will be a three-step posting.

We’ll star with DRAFT PICKS

Because of the Sox’ record in 2023, the White Sox will be drafting a Top 5 prospect (#5).  I’ll let everyone reading to determine how successful the FIRST ROUND draft picks (player draft order in parenthesis) have been for the White Sox since the turn of the century which coincided with the start of the Kenny Williams GM era.  The list does NOT include players selected in the AMATEUR DRAFT (i.e., Jose Abreu, Luis Roberts, etc.)
