Good morning!
Entering Friday night's game against the Colorado Rockies, the 2024 White Sox have yet to score ten runs in a game. The season is just now at the halfway mark, so there's still plenty of time to go, but...yikes. Looking back through franchise history the only other White Sox club to not score ten runs in a game was the 1914 team, one in which the home run leader was Jack Fournier with 6 and the team hit 19 dingers. In total.
So while offensive futility has been front and center, there are lower bars to clear! On the flip side, I wanted to take a look at those White Sox teams who scored, and scored often. Before running the query on Stathead, my money was on either the 2006 or 2000 team as the one with the most ten run games. The winner? 2000. That year saw the Sox log 28 such games! (The 2006 team had 17, in case you were wondering.) So today's Sporcle? I'm asking you to try and remember every player who logged an appearance for the 2000 team. That works out to 42 names for you to fill in: how many can you get? Good luck!

- I've allotted 10 minutes for completion attempts.
- For hints, I've provided the position of the player in question and the number of games in which they appeared.
Useless information to amaze, annoy, confuse, and/or confound your friends and family:
- The 2000 team went 27-1 in ten run games with the only loss being a 12-11 slobberknocker against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on August 20, 2000.
- The White Sox overall record when scoring ten runs in a game: 1259-77, for a cool .942 winning percentage.
- Should the 2024 White Sox manage to score ten runs in a game, they still need a few more to get out of historic territory, for the next-lowest number is 3: the 1909, 1913, and 1918 teams all logged 3 ten run games.
