Jacob Gonzalez

Following up on the big Charlotte notebook from Tuesday with Statcast data from Wednesday.

*Jacob Gonzalez's first hit with the Knights was a 107.4-mph double without a leg kick on a 3-2 count. That probably counts as "good" in his book.

*Noah Syndergaard averaged 90.9 mph with his fastball, down from 91.6 in his Charlotte debut. When Scott Aldred told me "I think there's a little more velocity in the tank," it might've been a nice way of saying "he's gotta throw harder."
